Whether you’re interested in teaching special education or honing your skills in working with students who have IEPs in your general education classroom, Mary Baldwin’s MEd in Special Education prepares you for work in one of the most critical areas in teaching.
With more accurate testing and better resources, school systems can more easily identify children who require special education interventions – some for a short time, others for their entire schooling career. MBU knows that exceptional learners deserve exceptional teachers, and that’s why our Master of Education with a concentration in Special Education provides you with the knowledge and skills needed to provide a successful and nurturing environment for these students.
