Higher Education

Mary Baldwin’s online master’s program in Higher Education invites you to bring your life experiences to the classroom, enhancing your classmates’ learning and, ultimately, the world. Our students address real-world issues such as helping veterans’ accessibility to education, assisting adults with autism to acquire an undergraduate degree, and developing service learning opportunities for civic engagement.

With a 175+ year legacy in education and nearly 40 years as pioneers in distance learning, Mary Baldwin’s close-knit community of professionals makes earning your online MS in Higher Ed easier than ever.

Designed to fit your life

MBU’s online MS in Higher Education is designed for working adults looking to advance their administrative standing to become program directors, associate deans, or serve in university support settings, such as financial aid, academic advising, athletics, or other student affairs career paths.

Our online program is flexible and offers part-time or full-time graduate study and an option to accelerate through the program with completion in as little as five semesters. Feedback is regular and personalized. MBU uses Blackboard Learn Learning Management System to deliver course work utilizing both synchronous and asynchronous learning platforms, with IT assistance if needed to bring their technology skills up to speed for today’s professionals.

The fact that you are able to tailor your Master’s program to your career path has been instrumental in my chosen career of collegiate sports information. From my classes, to my internship, through my thesis, I was able to focus on athletics. Without that I would not be where I am today.
