ABA examines the principles of learning and behavior and explores their effective use in applied settings such as schools, hospitals, mental health settings, and business. Individuals with training in ABA often go into professions where they support the behavioral needs of a variety of individuals.
Specific clients who may utilize ABA services include, but are not limited to:
- individuals with developmental disabilities,
- children or adults in school or home settings with behavior difficulties,
- institutions that serve those in need of behavioral intervention, and
- businesses seeking the enhancement of productivity through strategic organizational management planning.
A comprehensive ABA degree
The Association for Behavior Analysis International has approved the ABA course sequence in this program as meeting the coursework requirements for eligibility to take the Board Certified Behavior Analyst Examination®. Applicants will have to meet additional requirements to qualify.
The International Behavior Analyst Organization (IBAO)™ has approved the ABA course content in this program as meeting instructional requirements for the Required Educational Objectives, and as such, has designated Mary Baldwin University as an Approved Content Provider (ACP)™ for students seeking the credential of International Behavior Analyst (IBA)™. Applicants will have to meet other requirements to qualify.

Cost and Financial Aid
MBU’s Office of Financial Aid lists ABA program tuition rates for 2022-23 and is happy to answer any questions.
