The first online program endorsed by the Virginia Autism Council
The 30 credit hour Masters of Education with a concentration in Autism Spectrum Disorders prepares you to work effectively and ethically through collaboration with parents, colleagues, and other service providers to benefit PK-12 students on the autism spectrum. You’ll engage in inquiry-based courses that explore:
- Educational leadership
- Research design
- Instructional technology
- Educational, community, and home-based interventions for autism
As a graduate, you’ll earn the Comprehensive Certificate in Autism Spectrum Disorders, endorsed by the Virginia Autism Council. Our program includes a fieldwork component, which may be done on the job.
